At the EarthxMilitary conference, held during Earthx2019, Dr. William J. Parker, III, of the EastWest Institute, addressed international threats and opportunities for cooperation on environmental issues, and Navy research that supports ocean life.
Military and national defense leaders presented environmental solutions for security and sustainability at the EarthxMilitary conference, held during Earthx2019 at Fair Park, Dallas. EarthX brought together more than 177,000 participants from business, government, academia and non-profits, citizens and students, with the hopes of creating a more sustainable world for future generations.
EarthxMilitary closed with a screening of the Emmy Award-winning documentary Sonic Sea, featuring Honigman and Dr. Parker, explaining the U.S. Navy’s work with reducing ocean noise. Earthx2019 included three days of exhibitions, a film festival, music, entertainment, learning experiences, discussions, forums, and conferences.
