Dr. Parker explains the ways the military promotes peace isn’t just through putting warheads on foreheads, but also the military that does soft power, and does a lot of soft power very well.
“As somebody who commanded many navy ships in my time, I did a lot of soft power where I would go into another country, meet with people and we would help orphanages.” Aside demonstrating that we are capable to defend ourselves, we are also there to show that we are human beings,” says Dr. Parker.
